David LaFerney

My name is David LaFerney, and I’m a self employed residential contractor from Cookeville TN U.S.A. I grew up in Kingsport, TN and graduated from Dobyns Bennett high school in 1979. I’ve been married to the same lovely woman Shirley Jean (Maxwell) LaFerney for 26 years, and we have two grown daughters Sharon Lynn (LaFerney) Colson and Eve Michelle (LaFerney) Peters. We have 2 Granddaughters and one Grandson. All in all life is pretty good.

The purpose of this blog is to give me an outlet for all of my thoughts that no one really wants to hear about. My tagline is “Message in a Bottle” because that’s about how likely it is that anyone will ever read this, but that’s OK because writing down my thoughts and casting them into the sea is better than nothing.
